Outside Sydney / English

Besides our city tours and extra ideas for excursions, we offer tours outside Sydney. Here you will find stunning beaches, bush, mountains and rivers. This is the other side of Australia. During our day trips, discover these different aspects of Australia. Private tours, or in a small group, enjoy the colours and the beauty of this country!

Northern Beaches

Sydney offers some of the most beautiful and well known beaches in the world. During this day tour, discover why! We start with breakfast at Balmoral. Watch the morning activities on the beach while you enjoy your coffee and food. After a short walk along the pier or promenade, we head for Manly. We stop along the way so you can take in the views of the harbour and the coast. A short stroll along the Corso and Manly Beach before we continue our tour to Barrenjoey Head, Sydney's most northerly point on the coast. A 1 ½ hour round trip brings us to the light house with breathtaking views of the coastline. If you are lucky, you can watch the humpback whales on their journey North or South (April - December). During this trip, we also offer the possibility for a swim in the ocean, so don't forget to bring a towel and your swimmers! Experience Australia - Animals & Culture - our Special!

A daytour for all ages! The drive takes us north passed the Hawkesbury River while watching the endless green forests of the Ku-Ring-Gai National Park on either side. We stop near Gosford to visit an Aboriginal rock carving and a short visit to the Mount Penang Gardens (time and weather permitting). Our main destination is the Australian Reptile Park. Australia is renowned for its fascinating as well as dangerous wild life. The Australian Reptile Park, famous for breeding, research and venom extraction,  offers a "hands-on" experience! Short demonstrations, lasting an average of 15 minutes, explain the life and habits of reptiles, spiders, snakes, wombats, koalas and Tasmanian Devils. Check out the spiders at the Spider World exhibition or the reptiles at the Reptile House, all animals are safely kept behind glass. But not all animals are dangerous. Pet and feed the kangaroos that roam around freely or look eye to eye with emus, touch the Galapagos tortoises that grase on the lawns. There is also a photo opportunity with a cute Koala (included), and many more photo opportunities! You can even have a photo taken with a giant python (optional, $20), all proceeds go to the research in the the fatal facial cancer that currently puts the Tassie Devils on the threatened species list and which will make the devils extinct in the wild within the next 40 years. Learn how the park aims to keep a survival population! There are also short bush walks that lead you past bird enclosures and through Australian bush. A BBQ lunch is included in the tour.
